1600T Masters and Mates must have MTV endorsement and GMDSS radio license as well as STCW95 rating of II/2 and be eligible for Vanuatu General Operator Certificate of IV/2.

Chief Engineers with at least 7,000 HP license or better and Oilers must have STCW95 rating of at least III/2 and III/1.

Abs, Oss and Cooks must have STCW95 rating of II/4.
